Setting up voicemail on your iPhone

To set up Visual Voicemail:

1. Open your phone app.
2. Press the Voicemail Icon and select Set Up Now.
3. You’ll be prompted to create a voicemail password and to choose a greeting.

To set up traditional voicemail

1. Press and hold 1 on your keypad.
2. Select your language preference (English or Spanish) when prompted.
3. Create a 7 to 14-digit password.
4. Select your preferred greeting. You can select a standard greeting with your phone number advising callers you’re not available, record your name to use in a standard greeting, or record a personal greeting.
5. Once set, you’ll hear a confirmation message that your setup was successful.

Setting up Wi-Fi calling

Apple

1. Tap Settings on your Home screen.
2. Tap Cellular in Settings.
3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling in Settings.
4. Tap Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone to On/Enable (green color)

Android

1. Tap Settings in your App drawer.
2. Tap Connections in Settings.
3. Tap Wi-Fi Calling in Settings.
4. Tap Wi-Fi Calling to ON.

NOTE

For both Android and iPhone, you might also be asked to confirm your address for emergency services the first time you use Wi-Fi calling.

Updating carrier settings

NOTE

Your carrier settings are up to date if you activated your iPhone with eSIM.

1. Check your iOS version
   1. Open Settings → General → Software Update
2. Update to iOS 15.2 or later. This is the minimum iOS version needed to work on the Boost Infinite network
3. Return to the General page → About
   1. A pop-up will appear — it might take up to 30 seconds before you see this pop-up
4. Tap Update on the pop-up, and verify that the carrier is at least Boost 49.1

Android

Updating carrier settings — Android

With Android phones, the easiest and fastest way to update carrier settings is by downloading the CarrierApp from the Google Play store.

📘

CarrierApp runs in the background and isn't displayed in your app menu. It will automatically detect your SIM card and configure your phone for you.

1. Install CarrierApp from the Google Play store
2. Restart your phone
   1. CarrierApp will update your carrier settings for you. Make sure you're running Android 7 or newer for CarrierApp to work

Installing CarrierApp won't affect your existing settings if you're still under your previous carrier during the transfer or port-out process to complete.

📘

Uninstalling the app once you're finished will not affect your carrier settings.
